Today, Turkey an the EU have signed agreements starting talks for a possible deal that would lift visa restrictions for Turkish citizens traveling to Europe. A final visa-agreement that would allow to access visa-free travel to EU-countries is expected to be signed in about three years. In return, Turkey agree to take back immigrants who illegaly enter the European Union from Turkish territory.
